The DJF association is a very important part of the school community, as it involves the teaching staff and parents of the school.
Our aim is to raise money for the school through a variety of fund raising ideas, which is then used to buy things that the standard school budget can’t stretch to cover. The emphasis for the fund raising is to have FUN, and to involve the children.
We have Christmas Bazaars, Summer Fetes, Discos, Competitions, and even Fashion Shows.
So far we have been able to help the school refurbish the library, extend a path way in the school grounds, buy new equipment for in the class rooms and outside, a new camcorder to enable the school to capture elements of school work both in school grounds and on school outings and many more things which make the school a better place for our children.
We are as active as possible with meetings every 4-6 weeks, but do suffer from a lack of volunteers.
