Reading and Homework

All children will be set homework weekly.  Each child's homework programme is fixed inside their Journal (Fish Book).  

Homework could be Literacy and Numeracy or an activity chosen from the Homework Menu. You can see this term's Homework Menu under the curriculum tab.

All children should read at least 3 times per week as part of their homework as well as practising their spellings and table facts up to 12 x 12.

The link below is a link to past SAT papers that cover the old Levels 3 to 5 from the National Curriculum in Science, Literacy and Mathematics. They are free to view and print out and can be a good way to practice skills at home. Answer booklets are included on the site.
